A scintillating beach lifestyle woven around plenty of choices in life and leisure activities is but one the main draws of Horizons West for those in search of Siesta Key condos for sale. As equally alluring, this property development straddles east and west of Midnight Pass Road and thus offers two residential styles to choose from among its 135 units.

About half of this total was developed as easily accessible one-story condo villas. Most of these villa clusters were built on the western side of Midnight Pass Road and with 20 constructed in a cozy nook on the opposite eastern side of the property adjacent to the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW).

The villas of Horizons West, on the other hand, have floor areas of about 1,000 square feet up to approximately 1,300 square feet, featuring two bedrooms. Boaters would prefer an available villa at the eastern side of the condominium complex as these are near the development’s dock and kayak launch next to the ICW.

Besides this boat facility, the condominium has two swimming pools and a spa located at the western section of the complex. Its other amenities include a clubhouse, sauna, and Jacuzzi. There’s a barbecue grill too within the property’s well-landscaped and regularly maintained premises.

Private Gulf Coast nook

Advantageous for all residents in this development, the property has a private section of Crescent Beach, which has been furnished with lounge chairs and cabanas. The sands in this private beach are as pristine white as those in the main Siesta Public Beach a short distance north of Horizons West. Enhancing privacy, beachgoers tend to thin out a bit at Crescent Beach as tourists gravitate more towards the main beach where topnotch facilities are abundant and just recently upgraded.

For an even more secluded beach experience, Horizons West residents can take a short trip south to Point of Rocks, haven for fishing and snorkeling. Still a bit farther down this stretch past Stickney Point is Turtle Beach with very few residences around it and provides such amenities as shady picnic areas, a playground, and horseshoe pits. Walking a short distance from here extends a beach adventure to Palmer Point Beach, lesser-known but nonetheless a favorite for beachcombers hunting for fossilized shark teeth.

For more conventional life and leisure pursuits, such as dining and shopping, residents of Horizons West need not leave Siesta Key. A short distance north of the condos is the Siesta Village which hosts a slew of upscale shops and restaurants. Allowing for more lifestyle choices in malls, movie theaters, and cultural performances just entails a short drive across any of the Siesta Key bridges to the mainland. The span nearest to Horizons West is at Stickney Point Road only about mile south of the condominium.
