San Remo is this hidden gem of a real estate development just west of Granada. It is just south of Siesta Drive on the mainland side of Roberts Bay and the subdivision of Hansens borders San Remo to the south. The homes here date back to the 1950’s and nearly all the homes in the development are waterfront properties with direct water access to the Bay. Cross the drawbridge on Siesta Drive and you’re sailing on the picturesque Sarasota Bay.
One of the best things about the properties in San Remo is the lot size and length of the seawall provided to the home sites. Typically you will only find this much land on sites with homes of a much greater value. Large lot sizes and expansive water frontage makes San Remo real estate a good value for its location. If you like that 1950’s Florida ranch style architecture, you will love the San Remo real estate. There are a few new homes in the development. Some of the original homes in San Remo have been demolished to make way for newer designs. These newer home prices can approach $5 Million.
